Cool weather, amazing food, great beer, excellent cigars, and beautiful women. That was the setting for this years Quesada’s Oktoberfest event. Quesada created a tour of events in the U.S and Canada to launch their 2015 Oktoberfest cigar line. The Thick Ash crew followed the smoke, women, and beer to The Cigar Shop in Biloxi, MS to attend one of these exciting events.
The Quesada Oktoberfest cigar was created and released in 2011 as a cigar that would be paired nicely with a beer. The line is released annually each year, and a new blend or style is always added into the mix. This year Quesada released two limited edition cigars, and they were far from disappointing.
Quesada released two new limited edition Nicaraguan Oktoberfest cigars. Both cigars feature a unique blend and flavor profile. Das Brahaus is a figuardo (4 1/2 x 60) that features a pig-tail. Das Brahaus has a consumer price of around $8 per stick and comes packed in 24 count boxes. The second release is a Churchill (7 x 47) named Double Bock. The Double Bock comes packed in ten count boxes, and it has a suggested retail price of around $9.

The new cigars were pleasing to the palate, and they proved to be two great blends. Quesada seems to have hit a home-run this year with the new limited releases. Both smokes had great flavor profiles, great draws, and a flawless construction. The new cigars are definitely worth smoking, and I would recommend stocking your humidor with a few of these limited editions.
The Thick Ash crew had an amazing time at Quesada Oktoberfest 2015. The Cigar Shop in Biloxi brought out the hospitality and put on the ultimate cigar event.
